The hand of Fatma or Fatima, named خمسة, ẖamsaẗ/ khamsa or khomsa in Arabic, is an amulet meant to protect its wearer from the «evil eye». The amulet, in the shape of a five-finger hand, has two thumb. It is mainly used in North Africa.
